Guarantee
Our dentists provide a fixed 5 year guarantee and
each Patient receives an official guarantee card after receiving
any of the following treatments – crowns, bridges, dentures,
implants. In the unlikely event of any defects in our dental laboratory
work, remedial work must be carried out at our clinic, the cost of
the hotel accommodation and transfers will be covered*. In the case
of small adjustments you can use a dentist in your own country and
forward your bill to us for reimbursement. Dental Journeys allocates
a once- off fee of
€ 50 for repairs such as re-cementing crowns, denture or partial
denture adjustments.
We are not liable for any unforeseen root
canal treatment after having tooth/teeth prepared for crown & bridgework. Occasionally,
teeth suffer preparation trauma during crown & bridgework treatment
resulting in a need for a root canal treatment afterwards.
Guarantee will be reduced or invalidated under these circumstances:
- If oral hygiene is neglected.
- If dentists instructions are not followed (for example not wearing
the dentures during the night).
- If removable restoration such as partial dentures or full dentures
are not kept and maintained properly.
- If the patient does not visit a dentist for a routine check-up
at least once a year.
- If the gum tissue or teeth bone is naturally reducing.
- If the patient loses or gains a substantial amount of weight
over a short period of time.
- In case of accidental damage, for example dropping dentures.
- If the patient is in a general medical condition that has negative
effects on the dental condition (for example diabetes, epilepsy,
and osteoporosis, condition after x-rays or chemotherapy).
- For temporary work, we cannot offer any guarantee services.
- After-treatments, such as removal of stitches after an operation
or under grounding prosthesis, are not included under the conditions
of the guarantee.
When the treatment received has not been paid in full and all current
accounts have not been honored.
Exercise of guarantees
Before exercising any guarantee the patient has to consult with Dental Journeys.
The guarantee services can be completed only after evaluation of the situation
. The above mentioned conditions and guarantee conditions are valid only for
the clients of Dental Journeys.
